Overview
A ripper breaks compacted ground, asphalt and root-bound soil ahead of digging or grading. One shank does the loosening that a bucket would otherwise do with repeated scrapes.
FR3-S45 comes in at 98 kg. That is a size a compact carrier can work all day without the front end feeling nose-heavy, and the wear plate sits in the zones that actually take the abrasion.

Mounting and compatibility
Available on S30-180, S40 and S45 coupler mounts, matching the carrier class. A ripper loads the machine in a different direction to a bucket, so check the mount and the machine’s rated traction before use.
Packing and delivery
Units are packed on an export frame or in a plywood crate, strapped and corner protected. We photograph the packed unit before dispatch and send the loading plan with the shipping documents. Tell us the destination port and we confirm the freight basis – FOB, CFR or CIF – in the quotation.
Frequently asked questions
Can a ripper break asphalt?
It can lift and crack the edge of asphalt and tarmac, which is normally enough to start a repair. For full-depth removal a planer or breaker is the right tool.
One shank or several?
A single shank concentrates force and is better in hard ground; multi-shank scarifiers cover more width in softer material. We build both.
Will it damage the loader arms?
Shock loads travel straight into the arms, so work in short passes and keep the shank at a shallow angle. If the machine stalls, stop rather than rocking it.
