Overview
A grading beam is a long, open beam that planes and levels loose material across its full width. It is used for final trimming of gravel, sand and sub-base where a bucket leaves ridges.
The LG1500-S40 is specified at 1500 mm width (59 in), 150 kg. It mounts on S40; if your machine uses a different pattern we build to your pin dimensions instead.

Mounting and compatibility
Supplied on S40 or S45 coupler mounts by size. The beam is wide relative to its weight, so check the loader’s rated capacity and keep the load light when planing wet material.
Packing and delivery
Units are packed on an export frame or in a plywood crate, strapped and corner protected. We photograph the packed unit before dispatch and send the loading plan with the shipping documents. Tell us the destination port and we confirm the freight basis – FOB, CFR or CIF – in the quotation.
Frequently asked questions
What is a grading beam used for?
Planing and levelling loose material to a flat plane. It is not a digging tool – it works on material that has already been spread.
Can it be used with a laser receiver?
A receiver mast can be fitted to the beam frame on request, which is how most contractors hold a fall across a large area.
How wide should I go?
Wider covers more ground per pass but needs more power to pull. Match the width to your loader’s rated operating capacity rather than to the job alone.
